Where can I find some decent stand-arm attachments?Where can I find some decent stand-arm attachments?

As I've mentioned before, I've got a lot of Figuarts Sailor Moon figures. They come with claw-clamps. The claw-clamps annoy me.

They're fiddly, sometimes get loose, and restrict arm movement at the only angles I can really pose Venus and Mars at. Now, I also have two versions of Revoltech Fraulein Rei Ayanami that have simpler stand-arm attachments (see article photo); as an experiment, I swapped out Venus's clamp with Rei #1's attachment, and it actually worked much better!.. unfortunately, the clamp didn't hold Rei up as well, and given how tight a fit it was, I'm kinda worried about leaving the clamp on the Revoltech peg long-term.

So, is there any place I could find attachments similar to the Revoltech Fraulein ones? The only thing I found on HLJ that was close to what I have in mind were figure base kits whose attachments were different claw-clamps. (Might get a smoky black one for Spike after Christmas, though...) Anything that could fit onto the Figuarts stand-arm pegs and won't damage or stain the figures will do.

Update: So, didn't find exactly what I was looking for, but I was at least shown a lot of alternate bases that could prove useful one way or another (and, yannow, if I can get them). Maybe my primary annoyances--Mars's and Venus's stand-arms not being made to go under their hair--could be solved if I found some stand-arms constructed more like Pluto's...

It's looking like most of the potential replacements are different claw clamps. XD; These do look like they could be useful, though!

I hope this helps, if not the alternatives I can offer won't be much help either.
the SHF stands are very good in my experience, at least the ones they sell separately. I'm not lucky with the ones included with the figures either.

Don't know about my Sailor Moon figs specifically (they use the exact kind of claw-clamp I want to replace), but these could be useful for my other Figuarts. :)

Fext Display stand is good alternative, relatively cheap too

I will definitely keep these in mind, thanks! ^^

kyoshinhei (6天前) #70081470I don't own any Figuarts so I'm not very knowledgeable about them but can't the claw be tightened with a screwdriver like the joints on a Figma stand?
Or maybe I'm misunderstanding your question and it's not about the claw holding the figure tight but rather stopping the claw from rotating around its peg on the arm? If that's the case you could try thickening the peg with superglue and baking soda to make it a tighter fit. I talk about this technique towards the end of this article. See if that could suit your needs.

Figuarts claws can't really be tightened that way, I think (they're separate from the stand arms) and I haven't really had trouble with them being too loose on the pegs. I'll still take a look at that article in case there's a situation where I'd need to do that, though!

Basically--you know the stand-arm attachment (for lack of a better phrase) that came with Test Suit Asuka? Those or something similar would be my ideal replacement for the claws.
