Hello! Welcome to another one of my 'picture-showcase with commentary' blogs, where the subject of today is Erica Hartmann ENTRY #2033 from Strike Witches ENTRY #2 ! This figure ITEM #78647 is made by Alter ENTRY #7619 .
This type of blog is for a popular figure that already has a lot of reviews, where I still want to give some special attention to them without fully writing an review. This blog will mainly be pictures, with some picture edits and small commentary from me.
This figure I picked up as a 'bulk buy'from MASTRACUSTOM , just as with my recently talked about Lucchini BLOG #41191 , Yoshika BLOG #41904 , Minna BLOG #41964 , Charlotte BLOG #42015 and Gertrude BLOG #42073 . I am currently aiming to buy all of the different Witches as their figures made by Alter (not sure about collecting double characters yet).
This figure has quite visible panties, which is why I marked the review as NSFW!
Erica's box is HUGE and she comes in a similar style packaging as the other girls. What I find interesting with this box is that the box tells us of three different sculptors for the 3 different main parts of this figure (Erica, the Striker Units and the weapons). Seems like they used the speciality of each of these sculptors to get a combined super result!
This is probably one of the biggest instruction sheets I ever got with a figure and those instructions are pretty necessary with the huge amount of swappable parts this figure has!
Her normal set-up is a fierce look, while having her gun strapped on her back.
As with the others in this line, the details are stunning and painting is near-perfect.
I really like how the movement of the strap shows. Her angry face is quite adorable, actually.
Just like the others in this line, her base shows some stats of the character. The metal rod keeping her up feels very sturdy.
Now for the second set-up, and my personal favorite, wearing her hat and saluting with her gun drawn.
I really like all the details on her hat and her expression here is even more adorable!
Cute handsculpt with some nailpolish.
The movement in her tail is looking pretty nice too.
Her good angles are definitely looking at her from below!

As I think Erica already looks great as-is, my edits this time are just some simple color adjustments to make her pop more!

It's certainly rather cool to have the option of multiple poses (I also display her with the saluting pose), and the very conspicuous pantsu shot is certainly in keeping with Erica's personality.
For sure! I noticed quite a lot of people with almost complete sets, but they're missing Erica. Not really sure why she was skipped so much, maybe her character in general is not really popular, although the figure is good?
It was a though choice, as her other display option is also super cute! Although not as insane as ITEM #99028 with all her choices... ;)
