So today I received my January Loot which is made up of:

ITEM #166624
ITEM #166320
ITEM #166614
ITEM #166913

It was around 6:00pm when I got the package while I was with my boyfriend. I was super eager to open up the box to at least see the figures so my boyfriend let me while he did something else.

First one I picked up to open, and as I promised my bf the only one to open since he was leaving at 8pm, was ITEM #166320 . Victorique has got to be my favorite out of all of these characters because I love her. I wasn't expecting much really, probably lots of paint defects and seams since I don't know of the company.

Boy was I right about the defects but not about paint and seams. The paint was beautiful while seams were alright.

She came though with sculpting defects. Her base did not correctly fit into her bottom so she wobbles. Then her upper body wasn't attached to her lower body(there was signs of glue shown on the inner sides of the upper body) so the angle she faced wasn't correct since it didn't appear like the pictures. Then her head... was glued on incorrectly, she is looking WAAAAAAY too down.

As a result, I have to put her on the uppermost part of my detolf to display her correctly. I emailed GoodSmileCompany since they are the distributor. I gave them pictures and explanations... I hope they help >.<"

So after this, I was freaking out! I've never experienced a defect on a figure before. My boyfriend was too, he was really disappointed since I spent so much money to receive such a defected figure I can barely display. I was just sad so he told me to open up another figure since he knows that always cheers me up even though it would take yet another 30 minutes to get her opened and looked at.

I then went to the next figure and oh god...

THE SECOND DEFECTED FIGURE.... was ITEM #166624

I opened her blister and just stared at her. She is beautiful and had amazing details that I can spot from a distance. I pulled her out and just smiled. Then I got confused. She was missing one of her right arms. So I started to look into the box and she had only one pair of right arm... Where is the other missing arm?

I literally just went into depression, two defected figures in a row... My boyfriend only could hug me and said to just email the companies which I did already but that was terrible. I checked the other figures which were both GSC nendoroids which were excellent. But I think nothing could take me out of this terrible spin finding out my new scale figures being defected...

I really wish this gets fixed. I might be a crybaby about it but damn man, I spent my money and I would like to get what I paid for :c

poppit6年前#1970997Well Kotobukiya has a US branch so if I were you I would try to contact them about the missing part (www.kotous.com/...). I feel like I've heard of people getting replacements for their figures from them.

I emailed them and they said I have to take pictures if her box with the figure inside showing it's missing an arm BUT I have to email Hobby Search first >.<" since the Japan branch has to deal with defects, not the US branch. So I'm replying back to Koto and emailing HS this afternoon.

The figure was missing an arm? I could have sworn that Koto's quality control was better than that... Just email them and explain what happened, I'm sure they'll send a replacement or something

yokha6年前#1970935If its just a paint transfer I can live with it, but a missing arms?? What? That was a biggest defect, just try email koto maybe you can get a refund or replacement..
She better be able to, since it's new and all.
