(Credit for profile picture goes to sakimichan from Deviant Art.)

Fellow supporter of the Bishōnen industry and market.

I am mostly a self-taught visual artist but I'm currently taking professional classes in college. I don't mind chatting if you're interested. I don't bite much. ;)

Feel free to also shoot me a Friend Request or PM, I like to think I'm a fast responder to those. English is my native language but I can speak a LITTLE French.( Can do basic greetings and ask how you are feeling in French.) :D

P.S- My stuff under "Wished" are the current items I'm searching for or waiting to be released. As for my "Favorites", they are my maybe stuff, meaning: I'm currently trying to decide if I want to get them or not.(My preferences change from time to time so I may change my 'Wished' and 'Favorite' items every now and then.)

If you have a figure I want, feel free to PM me about it! I have a "For Trade/Sale" list for figures I no longer want so feel free to check it out!

I'm open to figure trades! :)

I literally experienced the worst week of work I've ever encountered in my entire life. That should say something since I've seen a whole lot of virtual fires go off. I'll spare you the details but to get a sense what happened, I couldn't get in contact with anyone for help within my department & out of it. I definitely got the "trick" in trick or treat. I hope you had a better time than I did!

For Halloween, I dressed up as an identity theft for work by slapping the "Hello, my name is ______" all over my body with the top 25 or so most commonly used names in the US. Some people got it right away & thought it was hilarious, especially since our work revolves around privacy & security of your sensitive information. Others were curious and it created a great conversation started between coworkers.

Now time to head back to future work/job tips.

Tip #5:

I found the best way to answer questions during the interview process is conveying a meaningful story in this structure:
1)Reason why you're amazing
2)Situation that you needed to rise up to show your skill
3)How you handled the situation
4)Your key takeaways & lessons learned
5)Reiterate how awesome you are, maybe

This also works really well you're in social gathers. I'm incredibly socially awkward in person, so telling stories increases engagement and adds entertainment value~

If you're interested in a fun work example, I'll be glad to share it with you (:

I think it was my turn to die off this time. I caught a pretty awful cold shortly after one of my peak work season. I'm glad I crashed after the work was all done.

A sister con is a partner convention where you could attend at the same time as the original convention you paid for at no additional cost. Since the cons aren't physically connected, it's impossible to randomly stumble upon it unless you head outside the venue and explore around.

It's easier to gauge how large or interesting a convention is by their guests that are invited. Honestly, the main reason why I wanted to go was because of the guest list too. It's like a guarantee that something you look forward to in the convention would make it fun.

BTW if anyone ever asks for your SSN on the phone, hang up on them. There is no reason for that person on the line to ask for something that sensitive regardless of the situation. Especially with the Equifax breach, it's always good to proceed with precaution.

Are you doing anything fun for Halloween? I'm not too big on party or scary movies, so I don't have any plans yet. I do enjoy how festive the holiday gets & it's a great excuse to cosplay at work lol.

OMG YOU'RE ALIVE!

I'm kinda glad to hear that it's college that's caused your disappeance. I thought you might have been swept away with all those crazy natural disasters going around lately ):.

There's chaos going on in my region too. There's rapid wildfires 2 hours away from my city, but the smoke is present everywhere you go. It's so bad to the point where the news broadcasted that staying outside for 1 hr = smoking 4 cigarettes.

It's been so long since I've attended CRX, but it actually wasn't as bad as I thought! Panels often had guests reoccur at different times, so if you missed one panel, they have another group panel together with other people later. The lines were also by far one of the best systems I've seen. Instead of constantly scouting up to move the line, they just move you sideways whenever a whole section is free. There's also a good amount of artists and sellers, so I'm pretty satisfied for their first year.

I had 2 gripes though:
1) They had a sister con next door & if you had the badge for CRX, you could go to that con w/o any additional charge. The problem was, it wasn't even advertised. I didn't even know about the sister con until CRX ended.
2) Getting food was a nightmare. Everything is not within walking distance. We had to drive for 10 minutes to find a place to eat & then drive back to the con to enjoy the rest of it.
Overall, I can say that I would recommend going if you live nearby the area~

Stress can really get to the best of us. The company I work at also decided to enable live chat because the extension deadline for taxes is coming. There's a few sweethearts, but it's the bad apples that won't know when to quit. I felt like I lost faith in mankind after reading a chat log that went like this:

Agent: Can I verify some information on your account before we continue?
Visitor: Why can't you just answer my question as is? I don't want to give you my info!
Agent: I understand your frustration, but this is for security purposes.
Visitor: -provides name- BTW you're an insult to humanity.
Agent: Thank you, sir.

It's amazing that someone would think it's okay to even say that, but the agent who responded like that too was equally amazing for taking in that BS. -sigh- Just a few more days they say. It's gonna be quick they say. Please, send help!

My shoes also got damaged too from my company field trip! It magically grew a hole right on the tip of my sneakers. I only bought it a few months ago too. Ugh, this is what happens when I cheap out & think I'm scoring a discount. My hobby isn't going to pay for itself though!

I swear with all the meetings I have, I don't even understand how work every gets done. I spent at least half my day in meetings T^T. There needs to be a limit to how many we can attend per day. I got a caffeine and sugar crash in one of them & I was doing everything I can to keep my eyelids from falling down.

Crunchyroll Expo starts tomorrow, but the convention is showing me red flags of how unorganized they are. They made the schedule 6 days before the con starts & the schedule constantly changes even after it was posted. All the big names are on Friday & they don't have any other individual panels for Saturday or Sunday. I'm crossing my fingers that everything works out in the end, but I don't have my hopes up. They even plan a "Feedback Panel" to hear what you have to say...& then ignore it.

Tip 4:
Don't wait until you graduate before you start job hunting! Start job hunting one quarter or semester BEFORE you graduate. I've personally learned that it's a terrible mistake to wait it out, because it takes months to land a job. It took me 11 months to get my first job post-college & it was a contractor position where I might become a full-time employee. (Spoiler alert: I was one of the four people that were hired permanently...among 20+ people)

Most companies like to hire during the start of the year or early spring. That's when companies have the budget to hire people & can afford new equipment. It's also easier for companies to train workers all at once instead of having training throughout the year. However this may differ depending on each field, because seasonal jobs~ No one is gonna hire a tax preparing in mid-August compared to mid-February.

No worries! My internet connection isn't amazing either, so I understand if there's a lag.

I just had a meeting today where some of my teammates started arguing with one another & I'm sitting there all like, "Why can't we all just be friends?" LOL. I'm so passive during meetings while some of my other teammates really want to get their points across.

The company has a stock pantry filled with snacks & drinks, so that's also a really nice perk. Our department works in the branch office, so we don't get as many nice things as the main headquarters. They have baristas making you coffee on the house + kombucha on tap. At least we will be moving over there by the end of Oct! The offices are roughly 12 minutes apart by walking, but it's such a pain when it rains or when you have to run back & forth between buildings for meetings.

Creative advertising is under another section in the marketing department, but I don't really collaborate with them ^^;.

I've never physically attended WonFes, but I read all the blog posts pertaining it on MFC. The coverage on this site is excellent (:. I was incredibly disappointed in most of the figures showcased this year, but I guess that means more money in my wallet. I will be attending Crunchy Roll Expo later this month, so that's something to look forward to!

Tip #3:
Don't follow under the pitfall of settling for a low, minimum wage job for experience as a college graduate. Unless you're an undergrad or you need it to pay the bills, don't do it. I can't even stress this enough. I have so many friends who tell me that they take a job just for the "experience" to built their resume when it wasn't anywhere relevant to their career, only to be stuck in that same job 3 years later. People are scared of change & if anything gets too hard, they just fall back to the comfort zone.

If internships are out of reach, I recommend volunteering at a place that is relevant to your field of interest to earn that experience. Not only do you get a shot at getting hired by that company, you also get a chance to network within that specific line of field. Recruiters would much rather hire someone who have the right experience even if it's volunteer, over someone who has a lot of experience that won't be applicable to the job.
